Sega Master System RF Switch / Aerial Splitter Box (MK-3092)
The Sega Master System RF Switch (MK-3092) is an official accessory designed to connect the Sega Master System console to a television via the RF (radio frequency) input. It functions as an aerial splitter box, allowing the console's video and audio signals to be transmitted over a single coaxial cable to the TV's antenna input. This setup was common in the late 1980s and early 1990s, especially for TVs that lacked dedicated AV inputs. The MK-3092 ensures compatibility with older television sets, facilitating the display of the console's output on channels 3 or 4, depending on regional standards.
