How do I make an order?
All orders are processed through our online store. Scroll through our collection of products, select the items you would like to order and add them to your cart before proceeding to the secure checkout.
An email address is required to checkout on our store. You will receive an order confirmation email within 5 mins of placing your order.
How much does shipping cost?
We have a flat-rate shipping cost for all courier deliveries within New Zealand.
- Residential delivery fee is $7.99
- Non-Urban delivery fee is $12.99
How long does shipping take?
Transit times for deliveries to NZ addresses are:
1-3 business days for residential deliveries.
An additional 1-2 business days is required for non-urban deliveries, after being handed off to the rural delivery contractor.
I have just placed an order, can I amend it?
Absolutely! As long as your order has not been despatched then we can make amendments.

My order has arrived but my game/console doesnt work!
All of our products are second hand. We test all products to ensure they are in working order when the stock is first acquired.
Occasionally, a product may arrive to you faulty. If this happens, drop us an email to hello@mlgames.co.nz so that we can try and diagnose the issue.
If we discover that the product is faulty after performing some checks, we will arrange for the faulty product to be returned and a replacement item sent.
Due to the rare nature of some products, we may not have additional stock to be able to replace a faulty product. If this situation occurs, we will work with you to arrange an alternative or refund.

We currently accept the following payment methods:

Will you let me know once you have shipped my order?
Yes, of course! We will send you an order confirmation via email within a few minutes of placing your order.
We will then send you a shipping confirmation email once your order has been packed and despatched.
This email will contain your courier tracking number and a link to the tracking page.
If you do not receive an email within 5 minutes of placing an order, please get in contact. There may be an issue with the email address supplied with your order.
How long does it take to dispatch my order?
We dispatch orders on all business days.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 business day.
Occasionally, this time frame may change when we receive a substantial increase in orders such as after a long weekend or retail event.
We will always update customers of any major delays via our social media channels.
Do you dispatch orders on the weekend?
We don't, sorry! Our packing team only operates on business days, Monday to Friday excluding all public holidays.
Can I Click and Collect?
Sorry, we don't currently offer Click and Collect.
How will my order be shipped?
All consoles are shipped and protected with bubble wrap. We use fill within shipping boxes to make sure nothing moves around during transit. Any specifically fragile items are given extra wrapping to make sure it arrives in the same condition it left us in!

If there is product missing from your order or items are damaged, please send through photos with your email to assist with our internal investigation process.
If your parcel has not been delivered within 5 business days (Monday to Friday), please get in contact so that we can investigate with our courier.
We will only accept queries within 21 days of the parcels despatch date.

Where is my order shipped from?
Memory Lane Games is located in Pukekohe, Auckland. All online orders are shipped from this location. Our courier collects daily Monday-Friday.
Do you ship to Australia?
We do not currently ship to Australia. However, we plan to soon - watch this space!
Which courier company do we use?
We use NZ Post as our courier company within New Zealand.
How much does New Zealand shipping cost?
We have a flat rate shipping cost for all courier deliveries within New Zealand.
Residential delivery fee is $7.99
Rural/Non Urban delivery fee is $12.99
Non urban delivery is to all locations outside of built up urban centres around New Zealand. Our website will allocate the relevant shipping rate as declared to us by our courier.
Free delivery is available for all orders over $129.
How do the transit times work and what do they mean?
If the shipping time of your parcel is 1-3 business days, it is important to keep the following in mind;
The day your order is collected is transit day 0. The next business day will be transit day 1. If your parcel is collected on a Friday, this will mean that Monday is transit day 1 for your parcel.
Business days are Monday to Friday only and exclude public holidays. Keep in mind that this may also be effected by regional public holidays like Auckland Anniversary weekend.
Why has my parcel not been delivered?
Most of our parcels take 2-3 business days to arrive to their destination. On some occasions your order may take longer to arrive. If it hasn't arrive by the end of the 5th transit day please contact us by either replying to your order confirmation email, or sending an email to hello@mlgames.co.nz.
Please note: If your order is picked up on a Monday, Tuesday will be transit day 1, Wednesday is day 2 and so on. Transit days are on business days only. If your order has not arrived by the end of transit day 5, please let us know!
What time will the courier deliver?
Our couriers will deliver anytime from 7am to 7pm.
Drivers will always aim to have the deliveries done inside business hours. During periods of increased freight in the network, drivers will deliver later than usual.
Do you ship internationally?
We do not ship internationally, sorry.
Product Questions
Answering any questions you may have related to the products we sell.
Are your products genuine originals?
Unless the title of a product mentions 'Aftermarket' or 'Third Party', all of our products are genuine original items.
Do you refurbish your products?
Consoles & Accessories are not refurbished internally. Products are cleaned, tested thoroughly and then packaged to be shipped out. We do not open any of our products.
All disc-based games are professionally resurfaced to mint condition (no scratches). We thoroughly clean cases, manuals and inserts. Games are then sealed for protection.
All other products are sold either in mint condition, or new condition (if stated 'New' or 'Sealed' in title).
What is the difference between a Platinum game and a Non-Platinum (Black Label) game?
A PlayStation game was given a 'Platinum' reprint if it managed to sell 400,000 copies of the original print within its first year of release. Most 'Platinum' titles were just reprints of the original games at a lower price. However, some 'Platinum' copies of games did feature minor changes and bug fixes. For example, Silent Hill 2 Platinum includes new sidequests, while Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Platinum got bug fixes and censorship. 'Platinum' titles will still work on their respective console - some people just prefer to collect orignal prints (called 'Black Label' games, due to their black labelling at the top of the case).
What condition are the products you sell?
All products are inspected, tested and cleaned before being sold. Any disc with scratching is professionally resurfaced. Every disc we sell is fully operational and free of scratches. Discs that cannot be repaired are not sold on our website. All discs and cases are free from stickers and residue. We seal all game cases and manuals for added protection.
All consoles are inspected, tested and cleaned before being sold. Due to the nature of some consoles materials (glossy), minor marks and scratching may be present.
Our aim is for every item we sell to be in as mint condition as possible.
