Frequently Asked Questions
What condition are your consoles?
Our consoles are pre-owned goods. All consoles, controllers and leads are cleaned & tested before being sold. We only sell items that are fully operational, have no physical damage and have been reset. Our goal is always to sell items in a like-new condition, however not all items will be entirely free of cosmetic imperfections (for example some rubber feet may be missing, or minor scratching may be present). We do not offer refurbished consoles.
What is included with my console purchase?
If you select 'Console Only' you will receive just the console (no controller or additional leads). If you select 'Console, Controller & Leads' you will received the console, 1x genuine original controller and the mentioned leads (generally power, AV/HDMI and controller charging lead). Additional accessories (such as memory cards, extra controllers and other items) must be added to your cart individually. No stands are included with console purchases. If you are interested in buying a specific model number (eg CECH-25XX), please get in touch with us via our 'Contact Us' page and we will help you out!
What is the difference between an AV lead and a HDMI lead?
An AV lead is used to connect your console to your TV to send sound and picture. It has three colored plugs: yellow for video, and red and white for audio. You plug these into matching-colored ports on your TV. The quality is not as good as HDMI, and newer TV's often don't support AV. An HDMI lead is used to connect your console to your TV to transfer high-quality video and sound. If you are unsure, HDMI is supported by most TV's today and is most peoples first choice.
